No Other Gods

Tuesday during the day was a precious time with Jesus all day! Of course, any time with Jesus is amazing, but this day was marked with an answer to a desperate prayer that culminated on last Saturday night. It is something really personal to me that has been an issue for well over 10 years. By late afternoon on last Sunday, God gave me my miracle!! I will share that later when I can actually show you. I WILL be able to show you soon.

MONDAY NIGHT APRIL 3

God brought a verse to me.

Exodus 20:3 (NKJV) 3  You shall have no other gods before Me.

When He brings a scripture up to me, I immediately begin to check my life. I make an inventory of what I have watched, listened to or said. I want to please Jesus. So I decided that maybe something I had watched was not pleasing to Him so I determined that would not be a part of my allowed list anymore. He is the most important person in the world to me.

BUT THAT WASN’T ALL IT WAS ABOUT

The next morning as I was preparing my heart for Tuesday night prayer, my first reading went directly to that verse in another Bible chapter. He began to talk to me about the things that people had made god in His place. I felt sorry for Him because it wasn’t the lost that He spoke of, it was His people. He told me that He wanted the intercessors to pray over this issue through the church world. If you pray with the archived prayer time, you will be a part of that prayer.

AT THE SAME TIME ON TUESDAY

I had become aware that I had received my long-standing prayer answered by a miracle so I had so much thanksgiving all day that I could hardly do anything else! That is why you will hear thanksgiving in the beginning and the first half of the prayer time. Also Justin and his team were amazing on worship. The music was spot on and the anointing was very present.

Every Tuesday night at 7 PM until 8 PM central time, we have a live stream. You can go to the church website www.trinitychurch.org and click on “Watch Now”. Then you can be in real time with us. Something that the media team started testing Tuesday night of this date was putting a prayer person on the feed at the end of the prayer time. This was to take requests from our on-line viewers and pray live over their request. It was primarily to test our ability to do it so it could be added to the Sunday morning “healing time”. If you get a chance to be a part of it this next Tuesday, give me some feedback and we will make a decision if we want to keep it as part of the live feed for our Tuesday Night Prayer.

Need Corporate Move of the Holy Spirit

I NEED A CORPORATE MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Yesterday I stayed before the Lord for the day. I spent a lot of time in His Word trying to get the mind of the Holy Spirit for the evening prayer.

I have to admit. I have felt really restless. Not restless in the conventional sense that requires a movement on my part, but a restlessness that says, “I have to have a move of the Holy Spirit corporately!”

I found out last week that as we prayed breakout that two people got delivered. Last night at prayer, as the Lord gave me a word of knowledge about a healing, I heard weeping break out in the darkness. Not sure what was happening.

WHAT IS A WORD OF KNOWLEDGE?

Sometimes I refer to something that some may not be familiar with. So just in case, I’ll give a Bible answer.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (NKJV)
7  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

So a word of knowledge is a supernatural gift of the Holy Spirit. Notice that it is not the only gift that God gives, but it is one of them.

In the above verse it is called a manifestation. A manifestation is an outward or perceptible materialization according to the dictionary. A true word of knowledge will be a piece of information not known to the individual except the Holy Spirit manifest it. He makes it materialize to the believer and they reveal the information in whatever manner the Holy Spirit wants them to.

As I was leading prayer, the Holy Spirit made known to me that there was a person He was healing in the section to my left. Someone cried out in the back after that. I don’t know the story so I can’t tell it yet.

THE PRAYER TOPIC

Back to the day of prayer. My restlessness tried to get the best of me. Sometimes I long for what I saw at the Encounter so much that it really bugs me! As I prayed I began to understand that the Lord wanted me to know that He has a strong hand and a long arm. He began to talk to me about that in verses of scriptures.

THE HOLY SPIRIT STARTED WITH EGYPT

He told me that Pharaoh got it all wrong when Moses came to set God’s people free. Somehow he thought he was in a negotiation. He was NOT in a negotiation. He was facing the strong hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah God! That was miraculous intervention that could not be resisted in the end!!

SO THE SCRIPTURES FOR THE NIGHT CENTERED AROUND HIS HAND AND ARM

If you decide to go to the video of our prayer, use the model to pray for power movement in your city, church, home or business. We prayed in the Holy Spirit language a lot last night and sang in the Spirit as well.

I BELIEVE THAT GOD IS ABOUT TO MANIFEST AMONG US

I kept hearing as we were praying,
“Eternity meets time and translates into glory!!”
I really think that is where we are heading.

God will show up in your sphere. He is just looking for someone that will believe Him and wait on Him. Be that person!!!
